Based in Sonoma, it helped put California wine on the map and today blends historic tradition with modern winemaking. Sourcing fruit from multiple North Coast sub-regions (including Russian River, Sonoma Coast and Carneros), Buena Vista focuses on balanced, terroir-driven wines that combine finesse with varietal clarity. Pale ruby with a bright rim. The 2023 North Coast Pinot Noir opens with lifted aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, cranberry and a hint of violet petal. On the palate: juicy red fruit layered with subtle spice, a touch of forest floor and gentle earthiness. Silky tannins and lively acidity support a seamless medium body, finishing fresh and graceful. A versatile, food-friendly Pinot; great with duck confit, mushroom risotto, or roasted pork.
